The Design Contract ("Agreement") 

1. Scope of Work
Designer agrees to create a custom sign based on the specifications provided by the Client, including size, materials, colors, and any personalized details such as logos or text.

 

2. Design Process & Approv al
The client must provide all necessary details, including color preferences, dimensions, wording, and any requested imagery (such as a logo).
Designers will provide initial design proofs.
The client may request a limited number of rounds of revisions set by designer. Additional revisions will incur an extra fee. Once final approval is given, no further changes can be made.

 

3. Payment Terms
The total project fee is [$], payable as follows:

• Deposit: 15% upfront before design work begins (non-refundable).

• Final Payment: Due upon completion before delivery.

• Payment methods accepted: Cash, Credit Card, PayPal

 

4. Production & Delivery
The completed sign will be ready within 5 business days from final approval. Delivery/shipping method: The Sign will be shipped via USPS/FedEx directly to the client. The client is responsible for any shipping fees unless otherwise agreed.

 

5. Intellectual Property Rights
Designers retain copyright ownership of all designs. The final sign is for personal use only and may not be resold or reproduced without permission.

 

6. Refunds & Cancellations
The deposit is non-refundable once work has begun. If the Client cancels the project after design completion but before production, a 10% cancellation fee applies. No refunds are provided once the sign has been produced and delivered.

 

7. Limitation of Liability
The designer is not responsible for damages caused by improper handling, installation, or external factors (e.g., weather conditions affecting materials).

 

8. Dispute Resolution
In case of disputes, both Parties agree to resolve issues through mediation. If unresolved, arbitration will take place in [North Carolina/Wake County Court Jurisdiction].

 

9. Governing Law
The laws of North Carolina/Wake County shall govern this Agreement.

The Designer makes no guarantees regarding exact color accuracy, material durability, or suitability for specific environmental conditions.
The Client is responsible for properly installing, handling, and maintaining the sign. The Designer is not liable for damages resulting from misuse, external factors (weather, accidents, etc.), or third-party alterations.

All designs are intended for personal use only and may not be copied, resold, or reproduced without prior written consent.
The Designer reserves the right to showcase completed designs for promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.
This contract does not guarantee exclusivity unless explicitly stated. The Designer may create similar works for other clients.

 

By proceeding with the service, the Client acknowledges and accepts these terms.
